Wily Bo Walker is a solo artist, songwriter, composer and performer noted for his characterful vocals and swaggering ‘live’ performances. Renowned as being a diverse and prolific artist and hailing originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Wily Bo works across many styles and genres; blues, rock, soul, swamp, alternative, soundtrack and jazz.

Wily Bo Walker has released a trilogy of albums for 2015, the latest of which,‘Moon Over Indigo’ (25th Sept 2015), sees him working once again with multiple Grammy Award winning musician and arranger, Danny Flam.
Their previous collaboration ‘Wily Bo Walker & The Danny Flam Big Band‘ (Nov 2013) received worldwide critical acclaim and was considered for a 2015 Grammy nomination.

‘Moon Over Indigo’ will be released on 25th September 2015

The first release of his trilogy for 2015 was a mini-album by Wily Bo Walker & Kareña K entitled ‘A Long Way From Heaven’ (Jan 2015) with the second in the tryptich being ‘Stone Cold Beautiful’ (May 2015) with long-time friend and musical collaborator, E D Brayshaw. Both releases gained international airplay & good reviews!

For 2016, Wily Bo Walker will again be releasing a trilogy of albums which will include ‘Tales of The Mescal Canyon Troubadours’; an album of Wily Bo songs re-interpreted for his five piece bands’ style of guitar driven groovalicious, funkin’ blues and rock!

Currently based in London, Wily Bo Walker is also working on his one-man blues, swamp’n’stomp show

Recent Achievements:

Finalist in the 2015 British Blues awards in the ‘Blues Song’ category for ‘Long Way to Heaven’

8 Charted tracks within one year (2014-2015) in the European based Hit-Tracks Top 100

Top 40 placement for 7 consecutive months in the UK Independent Blues Association Playlist Charts

‘Chattahoochee Coochee Man’, a Wily Bo Walker & The Mescal Canyon Troubadours track featured on the Covermount CD: Issue 18 (Dec 2014) ‘The Blues’ magazine

Nominated for Best Male Vocals in the 2014 British Blues Awards
